Peter Bain Installed as New APRA Chairman
Peter Bain was installed as the chairman of the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) during the 2007 International BIG R Show in Las Vegas. Bain started as an apprentice auto electrician in England and completed his university education at Durham University in Electrical Engineering. From there he moved to Vancouver, B.C., Canada and soon had his own business, set up in three locations under the name of Mr. Spark’s Auto Electric and International Rebuilders. These businesses did every aspect of the auto electric trade, from the normal rebuilding and service work on all types of automotive and light trucks to transportation trucks, tug boats, fishing fleets, logging machinery, mining machinery to even mounting the gun racks and light bars on the new police cars.
