Purolator Launches G-Man’s Garage Website

BROADVIEW, IL — Purolator Filters NA LLC, the official Bassmaster tournament premier sponsor throughout the U.S., and the official filter of BASS, is launching a new website devoted to fishing, called the "G-Man’s Garage." Hosted by top fishing competitor Gerald "G-Man" Swindle, the website (www.gmansgarage.com) will feature a series of four monthly webisodes providing lighthearted discussions and dialogue between Swindle and his guests on the subject of successful fishing, as well as information on Purolator filter products.

Swindle, who has had nearly 30 top ten finishes in the past few years of fishing tournaments, is well-known as "G-man" in fishing circles, and promises to give visitors to the G-Man’s Garage webisodes an entertaining look at his cars, hobbies and angler friends.

The website will debut during the Bassmaster Classic tournament, the biggest fishing event of the year, held this year from February 22-24 in Greenville, SC. The Classic pits 50 finalists from various BASS tournaments against each other for a total prize purse of nearly $1.4 million, including a top prize of $500,000. Contestants can practice for three days before the event, and the top 25 anglers after the first two days of the tournament will compete in the final round.

Bassmaster.com and espnoutdoors.com will include direct links to gmansgarage.com, taking viewers to the website and the G-man’s Garage webisodes.

"Purolator is proud to promote superior filter products to the broad, automotive-savvy audience of fishing enthusiasts. We are encouraging proper vehicle maintenance and operating efficiency while at the same time promoting the Purolator brand," notes Ramon Nunez, director, Filtration Products for Robert Bosch LLC.
