WIN has joined forces with CREF to expand its scholarship reach and increase application opportunities.
The deadline for submitting applications for the MPA Selwyn Joffe Awards is May 31.
Hundreds of scholarships, including those for service and repair, engineering, supply chain, finance and IT/cybersecurity fields of study, will be awarded for the 2024-25 academic year.
High school seniors and college students in the U.S. and Canada can apply for the scholarship through March 31.
The scholarships are part of an endowment fund in memory of industry leaders Pete Bley and Jim Burke, Sr.
Bill Ernst, the scholarship’s namesake, was a long-time WAI employee, known for his dedication to the industry.
The company has donated scholarship dollars to both Northwood University and Sinclair Community College.
The annual campaign raises funds for scholarships and programs that strengthen the aftermarket through education.
Scholarships have been granted to 13 students for the 2023-24 academic year.
Scholarship winners will attend a two-year or four-year college, university or accredited automotive vocational program.
Winners will get the chance to walk the SEMA Show, network with vehicle builders and receive a $2,500 scholarship.
Michael Kitching, president and CEO, will serve as the company’s representative on the UAF board of trustees.
