STAUNTON, Va. – J.R. Bishop, director of racing and event marketing for Federated Auto Parts, has announced that Federated Auto Parts will serve as an official sponsor of the 2010 Bassmaster Weekend Series Tournament Trail.
American Bass Anglers is the largest tournament organization for the weekend angler. American Bass Anglers operates the American Fishing Tour, the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series and the American Couples Series. Each tour is designed specifically for the weekend angler, offering low-cost and close-to-home events where anglers can qualify for a larger championship.
As part of the sponsorship, Federated will serve as the exclusive auto parts distributor of the series with an extensive on-site presence at all 105 Bassmaster Weekend Series competitions and hospitality events at select competitions.

The 2010 Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series Tournament Trail will feature 21 divisions and 105 events nationwide. Four regional championships will be held in October 2010 and the top 50 boaters and co-anglers will advance to the $680,000 Bassmaster Weekend Series Championship to be held Oct. 31 to Nov. 6, 2010, at Lake Guntersville in Guntersville, Ala. The series champion will then advance directly to the 2011 Bassmaster Classic, which will be held in New Orleans, Feb. 18 to 20, 2011.
