MEMA Announces Paul Foley’s Resignation as Aftermarket Association President

Bob McKenna, president and CEO of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), announced the resignation of Paul Foley as executive director of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA). Foley is leaving AASA to serve as executive director of the Golf Course Builders Association of America, based in Lincoln, NE, effective Jan. 2, 2006.

Modine Promotes Margaret Kelsey to Corporate Treasurer

Modine has promoted Margaret “Peggy” Kelsey to the position of corporate treasurer and assistant secretary. Kelsey, currently an officer in the company, as senior counsel and assistant secretary, will take over the new duties on January 1, 2006, reporting to Brad Richardson, vice president, finance and CFO.

Jeremy Denton Joins MEMA as Group Executive with its Management Services Group

Jeremy Denton has joined the Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) in the new position of group executive for the association’s Management Services Group (MSG). His responsibilities will initially include serving as executive director of the Filter Manufacturers Council (FMC) and of the Motor Vehicle Lighting Council (MVLC).

ZF Names Two Execs to New Posts

ZF Lemforder, the car chassis technology division of ZF, announced that Reinhard Buhl, group executive, Car Chassis Technology and a member of the board of management of ZF, will assume the position of president of ZF Lemforder North America, in addition to his regular worldwide duties.

Babcox Publications Adds Managing Editor

Amy Antenora of Akron, Ohio, has joined Babcox Publications as a managing editor for the company’s Counterman and BodyShop Business magazines, as well as its online news service, aftermarketNews.com. Antenora, who graduated from Kent State University in 2000 with a bachelor of arts degree in English, will serve on Babcox’s corporate marketing committee in addition to her editorial duties.
