RACINE, WI — Modine has promoted Margaret “Peggy” Kelsey to the position of corporate treasurer and assistant secretary. Kelsey, currently an officer in the company, as senior counsel and assistant secretary, will take over the new duties on January 1, 2006, reporting to Brad Richardson, vice president, finance and CFO.
In her new role, Kelsey will be responsible for setting the worldwide policy for cash management, debt management and risk management.
Kelsey joined Modine in April 2001 as senior counsel and was promoted to an officer the next year. Prior to Modine, she was a partner in the Milwaukee office of the law firm of Quarles & Brady, LLP. Kelsey received her law degree from Georgetown University in 1989, graduating magna cum laude. She is currently completing her master of business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
“I am very excited about this opportunity to lead Modine’s treasury department and work with a very talented group of people. I am also looking forward to establishing strong working relationships with Modine’s global treasury partners,” said Kelsey.
Kelsey is replacing the current Modine Treasurer Dave Spiewak, who is leaving the company for other opportunities.
