ZC Rubber Announces 2 New Executive Appointments

Martin Wells and Jörn Tietjens take on new roles.

ZC Rubber has announced the appointment of Martin Wells as the new managing director / president of ZC Technical Center & Global OE in Hanover, Germany.

Wells will oversee all work at ZC Technical Center, including the global OE business development for international OEMs and account management on a global basis. He joined ZC Technical Center in Hanover in 2021, when the technical center was initially established. He has driven effective strategies that support OE project development and customer relationships and has played a significant role in international OEM business development.

With Martin Wells in the lead, ZC Technical Center has received different nominations from international OEMs, especially for the EU Market.

“I am honored to work with our European team to further drive innovation and success for ZC Rubber and our OEM customers around the globe,” said Wells.

Martin has over 20 years of experience in the automotive and tire industry. Before joining ZC Rubber, Martin served in different roles for international tire makers.

ZC Rubber also has announced the appointment of Jörn Tietjens as the new senior key account manager / senior automotive engineer at its ZC Technical Center in Hanover. 

In his new role, Tietjens will be responsible for all international OEM account management: developing, testing, and marketing new products to key OE accounts, in addition to coordinating commercial and technical support to meet all customer-related targets.

Tietjens joined ZC Technical Center as key account manager OE and automotive engineer in 2021, when the center was initially established. Prior to joining ZC Rubber, he had a strong record in increasing customer relations and successful management of OE projects within leading international OEMs.

Thanks to Martin Wells and Jörn Tietjens efforts, ZC Technical Center has received different nominations from international OEMs, especially for EU Market.

“Jörn has proven his strength in building and strengthening customer relations and expanding ZC Rubber’s OE portfolio in the EU car tire market. With our European technical center team, we are confident to have more success in the global OE market,” stated ZC Rubber.
