Valeo has joined the launch of Data4Industry-X, a new initiative aimed at revolutionizing data exchange within the industry sector. Data4Industry-X is a trusted, secure and compliant data exchange environment, designed to address challenges in the automotive and power generation industries while enhancing competitiveness and reducing carbon footprint for major global industrial organizations.
Supported by the French government’s France 2030 initiative and the European program Next Generation, and endorsed by AIF (Alliance pour l’industrie du futur), Data4Industry-X leverages the expertise of companies like Valeo, Dawex, Schneider Electric, CEA and Prosyst.
As part of the international Manufacturing-X initiative, Data4Industry-X seeks to accelerate digital transformation in manufacturing, improve efficiency and drive innovation while adhering to European data regulations such as the Data Act.
Romain Bruniaux, vice president of industry at Valeo, emphasized the significance of Data4Industry-X in speeding up digitalization of manufacturing processes and reducing CO2 emissions. He said the initiative aligns with Valeo’s commitment to carbon neutrality by 2050.
