Turn 14 Distribution Purchases Tucker Powersports

It will acquire Tucker's inventory, intellectual property and private-label brands, including Answer Racing and QuadBoss.

Performance parts distribution company Turn 14 Distribution announced it purchased Tucker Powersports, a 56-year-old leader in powersports distribution. The company, founded by Ed Tucker, is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, and operates in Florida, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and California.

Turn 14 Distribution will acquire its inventory, intellectual property and private label brands, which include well-known brands, including Kuryakyn, Answer Racing, Pro Taper, and QuadBoss.

Tucker Powersports inventory will start moving to Turn 14 Distribution immediately, along with the warehouse and headquarters operations, according to the company. A complete transition will occur over the next several months as Tucker Powersports and Turn 14 Distribution leaders work through the details.

“The purchase of Tucker Powersports and our entry into the powersports market is an area of opportunity and growth,” says Jon Pulli, CEO of Turn 14 Distribution. “We look forward to applying many of the principles our company is founded on as we leverage our strengths in efficiency, focus and excellence in the powersports category.”

“The change in ownership is a huge injection of resources to better serve Tucker dealers around the country,” says Marc McAllister, president and CEO of Tucker Powersports. “I am confident that Turn 14 Distribution will have a significant impact on the powersports industry with their approach to inventory and their high-quality customer service.”
