MAHLE Aftermarket Renews Sponsorship with Midnight Motorsports

This is the second consecutive year that MAHLE has renewed its sponsorship with the Sidney, Illinois-based team.

MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. renewed its contract with Midnight Motorsports of Sidney, Illinois, for a second consecutive year that has “so far proven to be a winning year for the pulling team,” the company said.

Pro Pulling League 2WD Truck Championship drivers and brothers, Jeremy and Jared Nelson, along with their wives, Misty and Bethany, own the Midnight Motorsports pulling team. The agreement includes brand support for Jeremy’s Midnight Gambler Dodge, Jared’s Midnight Revenger Chevy, Misty’s After Midnight Chevy and Bethany’s Sweet Revenge Chevy. All four family members have been competing in the Super Modified 2WD Truck division of the Pro Pulling League Nationals for the 2023 season.

Among the highlights of the team’s performance occurred during the Pro Pulling League Nationals in August, in which the team went 1-2-3 in the Super Modified 2WD Truck Division, according to MAHLE. Bethany Nelson drove the Sweet Revenge Chevy to place No. 1 in the championship, while her brother-in-law, Jeremy, placed second in the Midnight Gambler Dodge, and her husband, Jared, placed third in the Midnight Revenger Chevy. The team also won the final Belt Buckle at the Hillsboro Charity Tractor Pull in Hillsboro, Wisconsin.

“This is one of our relatively new collaborations and we are thrilled at how well the team is performing,” said Jon Douglas, president, MAHLE Aftermarket North America. “It heightens our exposure to an enthusiastic new audience and brings further awareness to the value of our components within this market segment. We are pleased with the relationship and are really enjoying our second season with this dynamic, family-derived pulling team. We look forward to having the opportunity to build on our relationship for many years to come.”
