The program for 2020 will offer the College Student Tuition and Conference Scholarship Award.
“Driving the Future” is the 2020 theme for the two-and-a-half-day event that brings education, connection and celebration to collision industry professionals each year.
Along with her nomination to the WIN board, Anger supported the initiative to create awareness of WIN among Canadian customers by inviting two distributors and two shop customers to attend the three-day event.
The current officers were joined by seven newly appointed board members.
The Most Influential Women award is given annually to women in the collision repair industry who exemplify qualities of business and civic leadership, vision and commitment to excellence.
The conference is scheduled to take place May 8-10 in Denver. Business ethics expert Chuck Gallagher, host of radio’s Straight Talk and author of the book “Second Chances,” is the 2017 keynote speaker.
“We are all-in when it comes to the positive influence that women bring to our industry,” said Laurie Altman, vice president and general manager for the 3M Automotive Aftermarket Division.
WIN offers scholarships that will provide tuition assistance as well as educational opportunities and enrichment events to qualified applicants enrolled in a post-secondary collision repair technology program.
