The Affinia Under Vehicle Group has announced a series of upcoming training programs available to service technicians across the country. A variety of accredited courses are available throughout the year at the company’s McHenry , IL , training center and through field training modules. The cost of training is less than $15 per hour, and students’ progress will be measured through examinations and training laboratory demonstrations.

Amazon.com Launches New Automotive Parts and Accessories Store

Amazon.com has announced the grand opening of its Automotive Parts and Accessories Store (http://www.amazon.com/auto), which features more than 1 million new, used and remanufactured parts from leading parts and accessories manufacturers. A key feature of Amazon’s new Automotive Store is a Part Finder, that allowing owners of approximately 10,000 different American car and truck models to simply enter the year, make and model of a car into the Part Finder to find items that fit their specified vehicles. Leveraging Amazon’s unique technology platform for auto part data, the Part Finder enables third-party data providers and retailers to share part and vehicle information that helps Amazon customers make informed buying decisions.

Affinia Group has hired Jeff Stauffer to serve as senior vice president of global group marketing. Stauffer’s appointment is the latest in a string of new appointments at the company this month.

Affinia Under Vehicle Group has appointed Ken Myers as marketing manager of branded products, responsible for the Raybestos brand brakes, Spicer Professional Grade Chassis, Aimco and McQuay-Norris brands.
