The Affinia Under Vehicle Group has announced a series of upcoming training programs available to service technicians across the country. A variety of accredited courses are available throughout the year at the company’s McHenry , IL , training center and through field training modules. The cost of training is less than $15 per hour, and students’ progress will be measured through examinations and training laboratory demonstrations.

ANN ARBOR , MI – The Affinia Under Vehicle Group has announced a series of upcoming training programs available to service technicians across the country.

Training Center programs include Brake Systems Diagnosis and Repair; ASE Brake Test Preparation; Brake Lathe and Equipment; Brake System Diagnosis and Installation Procedures; Servicing Brakes on ABS –Equipped Vehicles; Fundamentals of Electricity; Kelsey Hayes, Delphi & Teves ABS Systems; and ABS Advanced Diagnostic and Service. Programs range from eight to 32 hours and include lunch.

Field Training modules include: Brake Systems Analysis and Repair ABS Hands-on; Servicing Brakes on ABS Equipped Vehicles; Domestic and Import BS Service Tips; ABS Brake Test Preparation; ABS Electronics Diagnostics.

Chassis Training curriculum includes: Chassis & Suspension Update; Chassis & Suspension Hands-On; ASE Suspension and Steering Test Preparation; and Chassis and Alignment Diagnostics & Installation Procedures.
