DST Inc., a technology provider to the parts and service supply chain, has named Alex Nubla as the company’s new Chief Technical Officer (CTO). Nubla has extensive experience as a consultant, leader and technical expert working for such companies as IBM Global Services, Nissan Motors and Bank of America. He also served as technical editor for four years for Midrange Computing magazine, the primary journal of record for midrange computing professionals.

Kumho Tire Suspends Sales ECSTA V710 Competition Tire Due to Tread Issues

Kumho Tire has issued a notice that the company has temporarily suspended sales of its ECSTA V710 Competition Tire due to inconsistencies that have come up in indoor testing. Test results indicated problems relating to tread splice and tread area durability. An investigation into the cause of the inconsistencies has taken place and modifications to the product and production methods have been made, said the company.
