NCMA Raises More than $6,200 for the Aftermarket Foundation

The National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA) held its 32nd annual Knowledge Exchange conference last month in Tempe, Ariz. Since 2004, the organization has been using its annual meeting as an opportunity to raise money for the Aftermarket Foundation. Founded in 1959 as the Jesselson Benevolent Association, the Aftermarket Foundation assists individuals and families in the automotive aftermarket through difficult times.

Spirit of NAPA Award Goes to NAPA Filters

NAPA Filters was presented the 2004 Spirit of NAPA Award, according to Terry McCormack, president and CEO of Affinia Group Inc. The Spirit of NAPA is presented to the manufacturer supplier who has provided the most outstanding service to the NAPA organization during the year.

David Cavanaugh, vice president of sales at Airtex Products, announced that he will retire as of Sept. 1. Cavanaugh spent 18 years of his career with Airtex, joining the company in 1984 as master division sales manager. He was appointed vice president of sales in January 1997 and has directed overall sales and marketing efforts for the company since that time.
