With effect from May 1, 2021, TEMOT International has won Guyana’s leading spare parts distributor, Caribbean Motor Spares, as a new addition to its global network. The company stocks and sells the widest range of automotive parts in the country. The inclusion of Caribbean Motor Spares represents a significant milestone for TEMOT International and once again strengthens the presence of the Group’s global value network in Latin America.
Caribbean Motor Spares was founded in 2012. In less than one decade, the company became a leading national distributor, wholesaler and retailer. Among others, it sells suspension, engine and air conditioning parts as well as fluids and care products for passenger cars, light trucks and small to medium commercial vehicles with a special focus on vehicles from Japan, Korea and the U.S.
Currently, Caribbean Motor Spares, headquartered in East Bank Essequibo, employs 30 people and runs branches in the cities of Georgetown, Grove and Zeelugt. Its warehouse at the company’s headquarters is capable of stocking more than 11,000 active SKUs on a floor area of more than 16,000 square meters.
The firm works to continuously expand its product ranges, establish further branches and franchises and extend the list of authorized dealers across the country. All this is made possible by the spirit of a highly motivated and skilled team, which centers on the interests of its clients, and by the fact that the company works with many internationally respected Aftermarket brands to safeguard that all products fulfil highest demands in terms of quality and performance.
Fotios Katsardis, president and CEO of TEMOT International, commented, “Caribbean Motor Spares puts the customers first. The company is committed to offer products of highest-quality along with superior service and aims at sustained growth rather than short-term profits. This business culture fits easily with the TEMOT way of thinking – making us a perfect team, for our mutual benefit.”
