Futurmotive – Expo & Talks, international exhibition on the future of mobility, for energy and ecological transition and innovation in the automotive industry, scheduled for November 16-18 at the Bologna Exhibition Centre, will host the Forum on Automotive Aftermarket Sustainability (FAAS), as well as the inaugural FAAS Sustainability Day on November 17 during the exhibition.
The FAAS, a project initiated by European Associations CLEPA (European Association of Automotive Suppliers) and FIGIEFA (European Association of Automotive Parts Distributors), announced early this summer the establishment of a legally registered, non-profit European association. Twenty-eight companies, including automotive suppliers and parts wholesalers, have already joined the initiative, with the aim of developing synergies, collaborations and activities to drive the sustainable transition of the European aftermarket sector.
Futurmotive – Expo & Talks, organized by Autopromotec, and the FAAS will partner on the first FAAS Sustainability Day, which will be hosted in Bologna during the exhibition. The goal of Sustainability Day is to “bring together the automotive aftermarket ecosystem leaders and innovators, providing opportunities for knowledge sharing, network building, and the exploration of cutting-edge green innovations.”
Presentations will cover emissions reduction, green services and sustainable logistics, with guest speakers such from Bosch, LKQ, BCG, IBM and many others, focusing on challenges while highlighting the innovations necessary to achieve net-zero and other sustainability objectives. Participants will have the opportunity to network with their peers, valued customers, trusted suppliers, and innovative start-ups from across Europe and beyond.
“We are honored to have the opportunity to host such an important event for the entire automotive ecosystem during Futurmotive – Expo & Talks. We share a common perspective on the future of the industry, and an equal enthusiasm for teaming up, combining different knowledge and experiences. I think that Futurmotive – Expo & Talks will be the perfect framework for the beginning of FAAS activities,” said Renzo Servadei, CEO of Autopromotec.
