Exhibition Map For Autopromotec 2019 Has Been Redefined

The new Autopromotec 2019 exhibition map offers better organized spaces, featuring areas dedicated to the different product sectors through which visitors can easily navigate, following pathways specific to their professional interests, an element that has made the event very successful over the years.

Autopromotec, the international biennial trade show for automotive equipment and aftermarket products, has revealed the redefined product map for its next edition, scheduled to be held at the Bologna exhibition center on May 22-26, 2019.

The new Autopromotec 2019 exhibition map offers better organized spaces, featuring areas dedicated to the different product sectors through which visitors can easily navigate, following pathways specific to their professional interests, an element that has made the event very successful over the years.

The new map covers a total area of 162,000 m2 (about 1.7m square feet) expanded by 4,000 m2 compared to 2017, and uniformly covers the exhibition area, offering exhibitors larger spaces and, at the same time, making it possible to open the doors to a greater number of businesses from all over the world.

Following an even more user-friendly itinerary through the various sectors of the independent automotive after-sales market, at Autopromotec 2019 visitors can explore the latest innovations and trends that drive the aftermarket sector: technology linked to the world of automotive service, the technical skills necessary to keep up with the times, networked cars, the new needs of future mobility, changes that concern body repair shops, and the latest developments in the tire and car wash businesses.

“Thanks to the great work done by BolognaFiere to further enhance the Bologna exhibition center, we managed to rationalize the spaces dedicated to Autopromotec for the benefit of our exhibitors and visitors,” said Renzo Servadei, CEO of Autopromotec. “And in the coming months we will be focusing our organizational efforts on these visitors to guarantee the presence of delegations of buyers from countries with a high level of industrialization.”

Renewed exhibition areas

Organizers for Autopromotec say the most important new developments for Autopromotec 2019 concern the spaces in Halls 28, 29 and 30. The redefinition of the available spaces following the recent renovations of the Bologna exhibition center has allowed show organizers to better meet the demands of the growing number of exhibitors.

The brand-new Hall 28, along with part of 29, were set aside for lubricant manufacturers, a sector that has expanded its presence at the tradeshow compared to previous editions. Another sector that has seen an increase in registrations is equipment and products for body repair shops. In their case, in addition to occupying Hall 26 like in 2017, manufacturers also will be hosted in the other part of Hall 29, which has been enlarged and is now able to accommodate more companies. The strengthening of this area is linked to growth that has been evident in the industry for some time now, mainly due to new developments that are affecting the automotive world and the increasing importance of this sector in repair activities. Hall 29 inside the Mall area also will host an area dedicated to B2B meetings with foreign buyers. In 2017, this area was located in the Service Centre). Hall 30 will be entirely dedicated to diagnostic equipment, with an exhibition space that is almost doubled compared to the 2017 edition when this sector was split between Halls 14 and 30. The area dedicated to tire service equipment, vehicle lifts and workshop equipment also will be moved to a bigger space, finding a new home in Halls 19, 14 and part of 22.

In the outdoor area between Halls 19 and 14 will be an interesting demonstration area that will provide continuity to the industries exhibiting in those halls.

The trade show will feature both new exhibitors and many that have confirmed their return after the previous edition. In the five days of the trade show, in Halls 15, 20 and 22 visitors will be able to find manufacturers and dealers of new/retreaded tires, wheels and rims and related accessories and services. The tire industry is one of those where technological research is leading to the development of intelligent tires, able to talk with the vehicle’s software, alerting drivers of any anomalies and communicating directly with the workshop thanks to remote diagnostics: Autopromotec 2019 also will feature space dedicated to this evolution. Halls 16, 18 and 21 will instead be focused on spare parts, components and car services. Visitors to Hall 36 will find tools, compressors and multifunction equipment, while Hall 25 will continue to be dedicated to car wash equipment, car care products and service station equipment.

With AutopromotecEDU – the arena for debating and discussing current issues of automotive after-sales – Autopromotec 2019 will continue to provide information on regulations, new technologies and the new marketing and communication tools available to the aftermarket. The meetings will be held in the Quadriportico of the Bologna exhibition centre, a crossroads for all the trade show’s visitors.
