Dayco presented its heavy-duty products at the 2023 China International Exhibition on Internal Combustion Engine & Powertrain Equipment from Nov. 15-17 in Nanjing. The event, themed “Power Change the World,” drew over 200 industry leaders to showcase advancements in the internal combustion engine sector.
The company highlighted its powertrain solutions aimed at extending the lifecycle of original equipment for heavy-duty, light-duty, premium and hybrid vehicles. Dayco’s display included an alternator decoupler pulley, torque limiter and damper in oil, alongside demonstrations of its heavy-duty decouplers and viscous dampers tailored for the Chinese commercial vehicle market. These products are designed to meet the demands of local truck and engine manufacturers by reducing carbon emissions, enhancing fuel efficiency, increasing drive system durability, and improving noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) levels, the company said.
Additionally, Dayco showcased its P1 and P2 hybrid system modules, reflecting its commitment to advancing new energy vehicles. Zack Chen, OE sales director for APAC at Dayco Propulsion Solutions, underscored the company’s century-plus history of market adaptation and its comprehensive solutions. “The development of new energy determines the direction of the global automotive industry, and Dayco has followed the pace of market changes and delivered full-system solutions for over 115 years,” Chen said.
Dayco said its presence at the exhibition emphasized its ongoing efforts to innovate within China’s internal combustion engine industry and its global pursuit of efficient and sustainable propulsion technologies.
