Auto Care, US Comm. Service to Host Virtual Int’l. Matchmaking Program

Registration Open for Virtual Int’l Matchmaking Program

The program is a joint effort of the Auto Care Association and the U.S. Commercial Service.

The Auto Care Association, in partnership with the United States Commercial Service (USCS) is excited to offer U.S. companies a unique opportunity to participate in its International Matchmaking Virtual Program taking place June 27-29, 2023.

The International Matchmaking Virtual Program is an effective tool for companies looking to explore or increase their presence in key export markets. Through the program, U.S. companies can connect with pre-screened overseas prospects, distributors, buyers, importers, partners and industry multipliers recruited by U.S. embassies and consulates throughout Latin America, Europe and Asia.

Participants in the matchmaking program will have access to one-on-one virtual meetings through a platform managed by the Auto Care Association and the U.S. Commercial Service. Auto Care Association members can register for the program at no cost.

To be eligible for this program, U.S. companies must promote exports of products and services with at least 51% U.S. content by value. The U.S. Commercial Service will review applications and notify companies of their acceptance into the matchmaking program.

“Through our partnership with the U.S. Commercial Service, we are proud to offer this opportunity for U.S. companies to strengthen their global network and explore new business possibilities,” said Bill Hanvey, president and CEO, Auto Care Association. “Past participants have seen significant success from the Auto Care Association’s export promotion programs and we are confident that this year’s virtual platform will provide even greater opportunities.”

The International Matchmaking Virtual Program is part of the Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) award the association received from the U.S. Department of Commerce to support the automotive aftermarket industry increasing its exports.

The deadline to register is Tuesday, June 6, 2023.
