Uni-Select Inc. to Purchase Assets of Consumer Auto Parts

Uni-Select Inc. has entered into an agreement for the purchase of the assets of Consumer Auto Parts, Inc., an automotive replacement parts distributor and operator of 23 points-of-sale and one distribution center in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Vermont. The sale is expected to be completed on Aug. 31 and is subject to closing conditions. The acquired business will become part of the northeast division of Automotive Group USA. This development should add annual sales of $41 million, 40 percent of which is expected to come from retail and walk-in trade.

BOUCHERVILLE, QUEBEC — Uni-Select Inc. has entered into an agreement for the purchase of the assets of Consumer Auto Parts, Inc., an automotive replacement parts distributor and operator of 23 points-of-sale and one distribution center in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Vermont. The sale is expected to be completed on Aug. 31 and is subject to closing conditions.

The acquired business will become part of the northeast division of Automotive Group USA. This development should add annual sales of $41 million, 40 percent of which is expected to come from retail and walk-in trade.
