Parts Authority Acquires West Springfield Auto Parts

This acquisition represents an expansion of the Parts Authority market share in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Parts Authority, one of the largest distributors of automotive and truck parts to the aftermarket auto parts industry, has acquired West Springfield Auto Parts. This acquisition represents an expansion of the Parts Authority market share in Massachusetts and Connecticut. The acquisition closed on May 1.

West Springfield Auto Parts has been in business since 1956 and is known as one of the top-tier auto parts distributors in the New England area. Parts Authority says West Springfield will continue to provide its customers with the swift service and expert product knowledge they have mastered while being in business for more than 50 years. With the help of Parts Authority’s expanded inventory, West Springfield Auto Parts and its 10 stores will play a pivotal role in the company’s ongoing expansion strategy.

“Parts Authority and West Springfield have similar philosophies when it comes to selling brand name products. We look forward to joining forces,” said Mike Creanza, owner of West Springfield Auto Parts. “The import inventory is going to help us a great deal in New England, and the excellent growth opportunities available for our team members really made it a great fit.”

“We’ve been patiently expanding into the Northeast, and we were thrilled when we had the opportunity to join forces with West Springfield Auto Parts and the Creanza family,” said Randy Buller, president, and CEO of Parts Authority. “They have great locations in Massachusetts and Connecticut. We expect to grow our footprint pretty rapidly in this region. We are excited about maintaining and growing the PB&E (Paint, Body & Equipment) business. Welcome to the team West Springfield.”
