Fisher Auto Parts has acquired Massachusetts-based Bagnell Auto Supply. The deal was announced today by Herb Godschalk, president of Fisher Auto Parts.
The acquisition includes seven Massachusetts locations in Hanover, Marshfield, Quincy, Randolph, Rockland, Stoughton and Weymouth, plus the central warehouse and company headquarters in Rockland.
Known for professional service, product knowledge and inventory availability, Bagnell Auto Supply has served the south shore area of Massachusetts for more than 36 years. A trusted auto parts supplier, Bagnell has developed multi-generational relationships with service facilities throughout its local markets. According to Fisher, the business is known for providing outstanding service and competitively supplying the correct products for the proper applications to its diverse customer base.
“Since 1986 when Tom and Craig Borr purchased the first Bagnell location in Rockland, they have strategically grown the company’s footprint and developed a talented team of experienced store personnel and dependable drivers – all a good fit for Fisher Auto Parts,” said Godschalk. “We are pleased that Craig will stay on as regional manager to oversee the business and wish Tom all the best in his retirement.”
