Rematec Amsterdam to Take Place in 2023

Event organizers say they are committed to return stronger in June 2023.

Rematec, which describes itself as “the world’s leading platform for the remanufacturing industry,” has decided to postpone this year’s Amsterdam trade event to 2023 to ensure the same high-quality level of participation. Event organizers cite current global events, such as the war in Ukraine and countries and companies at different stages of recovery from COVID-19 as the reason for postponement. Rematec Amsterdam will take place again in June 2023.

Exhibition Manager of Rematec Amsterdam, Kim Buitelaar-Wollenberg, explains, “These last months we have learned that some of our exhibitors and partners are still suffering or recovering from the impact of COVID-19. Furthermore, we see that the war in Ukraine gives a lot of uncertainty. This has an effect on being able to organize a successful show for the global remanufacturing industry this June. Therefore, we have decided to postpone the show and move it to the un-even years again.”

Global platform for remanufacturing industry
Bringing together key stakeholders, exhibitors and speakers, Rematec is a high-level platform for the aftermarket linked to remanufacturing parts and/or components to share knowledge and meet global players. The impact of the electrification of the automotive industry and the increasing demand for battery remanufacturing has led to new challenges and opportunities. Combined with recent policies on sustainable mobility and the increasing demand for longer product lifecycles Rematec is convinced that the future for remanufacturing industry looks promising.

Rematec Asia
Later in the year, trade event Rematec Asia is planning to open its doors in Guangzhou, China. Taking place October 11-13, 2022, visitors can learn more about the latest market trends and developments in China and meet global businesses.
