On Nov. 13-14, TEMOT International held its fourth annual Commercial Vehicles Supplier Summit in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. More than 100 representatives from leading distributors and suppliers gathered for the occasion, making this year’s event the most successful since its debut in 2015.
The participant list comprised 39 of the most renowned supplier brands in the commercial vehicle (CV) industry, including Knorr, ZF, Meritor, TMD, Valeo, MANN+Hummel, Bosch and Hengst. They took advantage of the opportunity to connect with 22 TEMOT shareholders who address the CV segment in Europe. As a result, the TEMOT Commercial Vehicles Supplier Summit formed the perfect framework for more than 600 one-on-one meetings between the shareholders and the suppliers, which focused on business opportunities as well as the exchange of know-how.
In addition to acting as a networking platform, this year’s Commercial Vehicles Supplier Summit also presented deep market insights and hinted at the most significant industry trends. On the invitation of TEMOT International, Vanja Sikuljak from DVSE held a presentation on “Modern Catalog Solutions for CV.” Steven van Cauteren from TimoCom updated this year’s audience on “Tomorrow’s Opportunities in a Digital Transport Process” and Zeineb Cortes-Prado from KRONE GMBH & CO. KG introduced the company with an informative speech about “Krone Service World.”
“TEMOT International identified the potential of the CV market very early on, leading to the invention of a separate business unit for trucks, trailers and busses, which addresses the demands of the supply chain in this challenging sector. As an example, with our 24/7 breakdown service, ‘Road Assist,’ we even offer a service developed for this segment,” said Thomas Kobudzinski, vice president of TEMOT and head of the CV business unit.
“From year to year, our Commercial Vehicles Supplier Summit has attracted a growing number of participants. This proves our perception that the market lacks networking platforms like this and that such events create value and business opportunities for everyone involved. For the benefit of our shareholders and the suppliers, we are committed to sticking to our unique concept and developing it further.”
Today, the TEMOT Commercial Vehicle Network comprises 45 shareholders from four continents, representing aggregated total revenue of more than 1.6 billion euros (approx. $1.8 billion US). It already belongs to the strongest networks across the globe and is still growing.
