Universal Technical Institute Begins Automotive Training in Two New Locations

Universal Technical Institute (UTI), a nationwide provider of technical education training, has begun automotive training at its new Exton, Pa., and Orlando, Fla. campuses.

PHOENIX — Universal Technical Institute (UTI), a nationwide provider of technical education training, has begun automotive training at its new Exton, Pa., and Orlando, Fla. campuses.

Encompassing approximately 160,000 square feet, the new Exton campus opened to students on July 19.

In Orlando, Fla., UTI has also begun offering the automotive program at the site of its Motorcycle and Marine Mechanics Institute (MMI) campus. Earlier this year, UTI entered a long-term property lease agreement and has since received the permits necessary to construct a new 60,000-square-foot facility that will host the Orlando Automotive Technology program. UTI anticipates taking occupancy of the new facility this fall. It is currently under construction.

According to Kimberly McWaters, president and CEO of Universal Technical Institute, these automotive program expansions address the growing technician needs in these specific regions, and are in line with the company’s plan for future growth.
