From Staff & Wire Reports

Selling Monroe shock absorbers and Walker exhaust products can earn service technicians a slew of prizes, including a chance in the NASCAR Total Pit Crew Experience sweepstakes, in Tenneco Automotive’s Ready2Race promotion in March.

Ready2Race runs March 1-31, and participants can earn $25 gift cards by selling 10 pairs of qualifying Monroe Sensa-Trac and/or Monroe Reflex shocks or struts, or five Walker and/or DynoMax cat-back exhaust systems. Each Ready2Race “scorecard” completed by technicians will earn them an entry in two $500 cash drawings each week during the promotion, and in the grand-prize NASCAR trip package sweepstakes.

The NASCAR Total Pit Crew Experience includes an expenses-paid package to the 2005 UAW-GM Quality 500 Nextel Cup race Oct. 15 at Lowe’s Motorspeedway in Concord, N.C.

Tenneco said the Monroe and Walker Ready2Race promotions are exclusive to all Tenneco Automotive Expert Plus program members.
