Automechanika Frankfurt 2024 Aims to Embrace Industry Change

This year’s Automechanika in Frankfurt, scheduled for September 10-14, will have a strong focus on sustainability, artificial intelligence, automation and recruiting the next generation of talent, according to the latest press information. The event will feature an array of training and educational opportunities, panels, and hands-on workshops designed to keep professionals at the forefront of industry developments, show organizers said.

A highlight of this year’s event is the emphasis on the transformation of the automotive sector. Exhibitors will present innovations related to circular economy, electromobility, alternative fuels, sustainability and A.I. in vehicles and services. The Sustainability Court in Hall 5 will host discussions and presentations on sustainable solutions, while the Future Mobility Park will allow visitors to experience and test vehicles with alternative-drive systems.

To accommodate the high demand, the organizers have expanded the exhibition space. Additional halls will feature companies showcasing spare parts, components, diagnostics and repair solutions. Halls 10.3 and 9.1 will house the World of Asia, presenting innovations from the Asia-Pacific region.

A significant focus this year is on recruiting and training the next generation of automotive professionals. The student area will provide information on career options in the industry, and the new “Ambition” area will engage Generation Z with themes of gaming, lifestyle, music and future technologies.
