TEMOT International Expands Footprint In Egypt

TEMOT International has announced that the Egyptian Company for Trading and Construction (ECTC) has recently joined the ranks of TEMOT shareholders. Headquartered in Cairo, the company is one of the country’s most renowned commercial vehicle parts distributors, according to TEMOT.

ECTC is a full-range supplier for commercial vehicles, passenger cars, earth-moving and marine equipment and holds a leading position in its market. The company’s product range includes components and spare parts for engines, transmission systems, air-conditioning systems, braking systems, control systems, cooling systems and liquids, filters, fuel systems, seals, belts, bearings, steering and suspension systems, hydraulic jacks, hydraulic cylinders, cabin parts, lubrication and greases, trailer axles and rims. In total, the assortment covers more than 6,000 SKUs, which the company ships to domestic manufacturers as well as to aftermarket customers. The company also supplies public sector clients, such as the Cairo Transport Authority (CTA) and the Alexandria Passenger Transportation Authority (APTA).

In more than 40 years of company history, ECTC has grown to become one of the most noted enterprises in the Egyptian automotive industry and has built a reputation as an active and reliable supplier of superior quality products and services. It runs offices in Cairo and Alexandria and has more than 90 employees.
