REE’s P7-C Trucks Approved for MOR-EV Incentive

Massachusetts MOR-EV incentive offers up to $70,000 in savings on REE P7-C electric truck for fleets.

REE Automotive Ltd. has been approved for the Massachusetts MOR-EV truck incentive, valued at $30,000 per truck. Combined with the federal commercial clean vehicle tax credit, this approval allows fleets in Massachusetts to save up to $70,000 on REE’s class 4 P7-C chassis cab, reducing the cost by 37%. Fleets can order the P7-C through REE’s authorized dealers.

“EV truck incentives such as the MOR-EV rebate in Massachusetts promote the adoption of electric commercial vehicles and help fleets electrify at an accelerated pace,” said Richard Colley, vice president of government and regulatory affairs at REE Automotive. He added that REE has submitted applications for other incentives in states including California.

The MOR-EV incentive is available to private and nonprofit entities, educational institutions, and local, municipal, and state governments.

REE Automotive is a provider of electric vehicle platforms that allow for design flexibility and pack critical vehicle components into a compact module. The company’s technology eliminates the need for mechanical connections and supports autonomous capabilities.
