Federated Inducts Federal-Mogul’s Bob Egan into Federated Vendor Hall of Fame

Federated Auto Parts recently named Bob Egan of Federal-Mogul as the 2007 Federated Vendor Hall of Fame inductee. Federated honored Egan at its annual meeting held April 23-26 in Dallas. Past Federated Vendor Hall of Fame inductees include John Washbish of Affinia (2006), Frank Doria of USA Industries (2005), Matt Forner of Grote (2004), Mike Howarth of KYB America (2003), Jack Nihart of PTC Industries (2002) and Ken Kee of Dayco (2001).

Suppliers Gather for First-Ever AASA Vision Conference

Nearly 140 North American automotive aftermarket suppliers gathered in Orlando, FL, Feb. 29-March 1 for the first-ever Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) Vision Conference 2008. “Our members accomplished something very important at our inaugural Vision Conference,” said Steve Handschuh, AASA president and COO. “We’ve laid the basis for future collaboration, for engaging on issues that will make a difference and for which the effort we invest will return to us many times over.”
