Ninety-five Winners Share $4,200 in Gifts and Prizes at CABA Golf Outing

PASADENA, MD – It was a day of big wins at the 38th Annual Chesapeake Automotive Business Association (CABA) Golf Scramble & Dinner held June 14 around the maritime marshes at Queenstown Harbor on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Ninety-five players each received their share of $1,700 in golfer gifts, getting a lightweight garment bag, a tee pak and a sleeve of premium Nike golf balls. Eight players were lucky in sharing $1,100 worth of prizes from various drawings; and skill paid off for 16 players sharing $1,400 in cash.

CABA was the big winner for the day as players and sponsors alike, contributed in this annual fundraiser supporting other association activities including educational and government affairs projects.

The S&M Auto Parts foursome of Stan Stern, Bob Hillerson, Craig Frederick and Jeff Yingling skillfully used talents and valuable “Lucky-Shot” coupons to win the outing with a 16-under-par round of 56 on the Queenstown Lakes course. Tie-breaker rules were invoked to determine second, third and fourth places as their 12-under 60s made the tough 6,400 yard links layout appear easier than most found it.

Second place round: Steven Seldowitz (Zurich Insurance), Michael Stout (Zurich Insurance), Robert Scully (SRS Marketing) and Joe Verdi (guest).

Third place round: Chris Lee (Admiral Tire), Rob Wilson (Admiral Tire), Chris Lilly (K&W Tire) and Greg Quade (Waldorf Tire).

Fourth Place: The Emanuel Tire group of Mark Rannie, Bobby Paschall, Ralph Cage and Ron Carr.
