David Kolman Joins Tire Retread Information Bureau

David Kolman, veteran truck communicator and long-haul trucker, has joined the Tire Retread Information Bureau (TRIB) as its associate director. TRIB is a non-profit, member-supported industry association dedicated to the recycling of tires through retreading and repairing. Kolman will operate out of Baltimore, Md., giving TRIB its first office on the East Coast. He will work closely with TRIB’s long-time Managing Director Harvey Brodsky.

Continental Holds Dealer Training Events

Automotive safety systems supplier Continental held dealer training events this week at its Brimley, Mich., Development Center. The training focused on advanced brake systems, including antilock braking systems (ABS), traction control systems (TCS), electronic stability control (ESC) and active rollover protection (ARP).
