automechanika-logoFRANKFURT, Germany – Connected cars are a major challenge for the automobile sector. The Automechanika international trade show brand for the automotive service industry wants to put focus on the variety of “connected” applications and functions available today, in its new advertising campaign. Messe Frankfurt, which manages the Automechanika brand, has revealed the new tagline for its global trade fairs: “Get connected to the Automotive Service Industry.”

“The proportion of connected cars will impact the dynamism of the entire aftersales service market, and we anticipate new customers from a variety of fields, including IT, insurance, leasing and fleet management, for Automechanika,” says Detlef Braun, member of the executive board of Messe Frankfurt.

Innovative companies and providers of services for the connected car are invited to take part in a special thematic program at the next Automechanika Frankfurt, which will take place Sept. 13-17, 2016. Registration for the show is open online at www.automechanika-frankfurt.com. The early-booking rate is valid until Aug. 2, 2015.
