Mitchell 1 Releases New Series Of Shop Management Training Videos

The new videos range from one to three minutes long and are organized into five playlists.

ManagerSE Training VideosMitchell 1 has released a series of new training videos for its auto repair shop management system that includes the largest number of topics the company has ever offered in a single collection. The videos are accessible from the online Mitchell 1 Get2Know Training Center and also from inside the Manager SE software simply by clicking on the “Training Videos – How Do I” link.

“These videos are designed to help our users get the most value from the powerful features in Manager SE to energize their business, increase profit and boost productivity,” said Tim McDonnell, national training manager for Mitchell 1. “Delivering these videos via the internet makes it easy for users to access them any time and from any device – computer, tablet or phone. This ensures they always have the latest training to go with our dynamic shop management system.”

ManagerSE_TakeQuizThe new videos range from one to three minutes long and are organized into five playlists. Each playlist has 12 videos covering a wide range of topics and features, including:

  • Set-up and configurations
  • Work-in-progress, customer and vehicle screens
  • Order, revision, history screens
  • The all-new scheduling tool
  • Inventory, purchase orders and reports

Viewers can watch the videos one at a time or choose a playlist and select “play all” to view them consecutively without pausing between topics. Each playlist includes a 20-question quiz to test the user’s knowledge about the covered topics. When the user passes each of the five quizzes with a score of 85 percent or better, he or she may print or save (as PDF) a certificate of completion.

The training videos allow users to quickly learn and master the Manager SE program functions, according to Mitchell 1. The videos include tips and best practices whenever possible. Text boxes, arrows and screen zooms make it easier to focus on the details and understand the processes being explained, the company adds.

Manager SE helps mechanical auto repair shops streamline workflow and track activity from estimate to invoice. The tools and reports in Manager SE give shops a 360-degree view of the entire operation, helping them manage repairs, customer service and the overall business more efficiently and profitably. Manager SE is integrated with ProDemand, Mitchell 1’s comprehensive repair information system, to further increase shop productivity.
