LKQ Euro to Sponsor 1st Automechanika Birmingham Garage Awards

The ceremony on June 7, 2023, will celebrate outstanding achievements across the repair industry.

LKQ Euro Car Parts announced it will be the headline sponsor of the first Automechanika Birmingham Garage Awards, hosted by the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF).

Held on the evening of June 7, 2023, at Hilton Metropole NEC to celebrate outstanding achievements across the repair industry, the ceremony will be held against the backdrop of the largest automotive aftermarket trade exhibition in the UK, Automechanika Birmingham.

Nominations for the awards are already open and can be submitted online here. There are eight different awards categories available, including business operations, customer service, marketing campaigns and community initiatives.

“Recognizing best practice within the aftermarket is an important step in driving the whole industry forward, so it can continue to support livelihoods and offer a top quality, great value, local services to consumers and businesses across the country,” said Andy Hamilton, chief executive officer at LKQ Euro Car Parts. “Garages, bodyshops and the thousands of people that work for them are the lifeblood of our industry, so it’s only right that we celebrate their contributions and achievements. The IAAF plays such an important role in supporting the independent aftermarket, so it means a lot to be able to stand alongside them as sponsors for the launch of these awards.”
