Inteva Products Celebrates New India Technical Center

A grand-opening celebration will take place in Bangalore, India, on Sept. 28. The state-of-the-art Center of Expertise expands Inteva’s technical capabilities and footprint in the region.

Inteva Products LLC, a leading global Tier 1 automotive supplier of engineered components and systems, is celebrating the grand opening of its new India Technical Center in Bangalore, India. The state-of-the-art Center of Expertise expands Inteva’s technical capabilities and footprint in the region.

Inteva - LogoThe center houses advanced engineering support, design, development, durability testing and functional testing teams. These teams focus on developing and launching advanced technologies in roof systems, closures and motors and electronics for Inteva’s global customers. The center currently employs more than 200 research and development engineers, with plans for additional growth.

Led by President, CEO and Founder Lon Offenbacher, Inteva’s executive leadership team will celebrate the grand opening of the new facility on Sept. 28, during an invitation-only event. Employees, customers, suppliers and dignitaries will attend the event, which will include a tour, lunch and ceremonial ribbon-cutting. 

“I’m pleased to help commemorate the opening of this new technical facility with our Bangalore employees and guests,” said Offenbacher. “Our India Technical Center will serve as a Center of Expertise for the region and we are pleased to bring our global customers this additional investment in our world-class technical capabilities.”

Since it was founded in 2008, Inteva has grown dramatically and tripled its global footprint with new facilities in all regions of the world. By the end of this year, the company will have opened new sites in five countries. In addition to Bangalore, Inteva has expanded its presence in Rychnov, Czech Republic; Oradea, Romania; Guanajuato, Mexico, and Zhenjiang, China.
