FEV Group Reinforces Operations In Europe, South America, And Asia

Dr. Ernst Scheid and Dr. Michael Wilhelm assume management leadership of the newly founded FEV Asia GmbH; Dr. Norbert Alt becomes executive vice president of FEV GmbH.

The FEV Group Holding GmbH announced it has restructured the global management of its subsidiaries and continues to strengthen the structure of its local sales organizations in Asia, Europe and South America.

FEV’s Asian market business will be reorganized under a newly founded company – FEV Asia GmbH – to which all Asian FEV subsidiaries will report. As part of this new Asian business structure, Dr. Ernst Scheid becomes chairman of the executive board and Dr. Michael Wilhelm has been appointed executive vice president.

Changes also were announced within the Executive Board of FEV GmbH, which is responsible for FEV’s activities in Europe and South America. Dr. Jens Ludmann has been named chairman of the executive board of FEV GmbH. In addition, Dr. Norbert Alt, vice president business region Europe and South America has been appointed as an executive vice president of FEV GmbH, joining current executive vice presidents Dr. Ernst Scheid and Sami Sagur.

“The personnel and structural changes are an important step toward optimizing our globally oriented operations and structuring our local operating activities to better meet our customers’ needs,” said Professor Stefan Pischinger, president and CEO of the FEV Group. “With the foundation of FEV Asia GmbH, we are recognizing the increasing importance of Asian markets, while the European operations are being further reinforced.”

Based in Aachen, Germany, FEV Group is an internationally recognized development service provider for drive and vehicle technologies. The company offers its global transport industry customers a complete range of engineering services, providing support in the design, analysis and prototyping for powertrain and transmission development, as well as vehicle integration, calibration and homologation for advanced internal combustion gasoline-, diesel-, and alternative-fueled powertrains.
