DENSO Corp. has announced management changes that were voted upon yesterday at the company's shareholders meeting. These changes are effective today.

KARIYA, Japan — DENSO Corp. has announced several management changes, voted upon yesterday at the company’s shareholders meeting. The following changes were effective as of June 25.

New Directors appointed to the Board:

  • Koichi Fukaya, Vice Chairman (from President and CEO)
  • Nobuaki Katoh, President and CEO (from Senior Managing Director)
  • Hiromi Tokuda, Executive Vice President (from Senior Managing Director)
  • Hikaru Sugi, Senior Managing Director (from Managing Officer)
  • Shinji Shirasaki, Senior Managing Director (from Managing Officer)

New Managing Officers:

  • Yoshiki Sekiguchi, Managing Officer (from General Manager of Sales Planning Department)
  • Hiroyuki Murayama, Managing Officer (from General Manager of Corporate ePF Department)
  • Hitoshi Tasaka, Managing Officer (from General Manager of ITS Engineering Department 2)
  • Koji Arima, Managing Officer (from President of DENSO Manufacturing Italia S.p.A.)
  • Katsuhisa Shimokawa, Managing Officer (from Chief Planner of Powertrain Control Systems Business Planning Center)
  • Tatsuya Toyoda, Managing Officer (from General Manager of Daian New Plant Project Department)

Board of Director and Managing Officer retirements include:

  • Oyuki Ogawa (from Executive Vice President)
