WAI Announces Leadership Changes

Ron Bernstein, David Boer and Steve Garland have been named to new leadership positions within WAI Global.

WAI Global announced three recent leadership changes.

Ron Bernstein Appointed President, North America

Bernstein has worked in the automotive industry for 29 years with executive roles in Merchandising, Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Product Management and Supply Chain. Over the last two years at WAI, Bernstein has played a role in restructuring and enhancing WAI’s North American operations, proving his leadership capabilities, the company said. In his new position, Bernstein will oversee the direction and execution of WAI’s North American Business Unit.

David Boer Joins as SVP, Global Marketing and Product Strategy

With over 25 years of expertise in product development, market penetration and driving revenue growth, Boer brings a wealth of experience to the WAI team, the company said. He will centralize WAI’s marketing and product functions to support global business units. Boer will spearhead many global marketing and product initiatives, including continuing to build the WAI brand, creating synergies around product efforts, and developing growth strategies in new and existing markets, including acquisition integration support, the company said.

Steve Garland Joins as Director of Retail Sales

With over three decades of experience in the automotive aftermarket industry, Garland brings expertise in strategic sales leadership, B2B sales, and driving revenue growth. Garland has demonstrated exceptional skills in sales management, business development, strategic partnerships, customer acquisition, and sales enablement throughout his career, according to WAI Global. His dedication to building solid relationships with clients and partners and his energy and passion for sales make him an invaluable addition to the WAI team, the company said.
