DENSO Announces Motorsports Sponsorships for 2008

KARIYA, Japan – DENSO has announced its motorsports sponsorship plan for the 2008 season. DENSO will continue to sponsor teams participating in the world’s top motor sports including FIA Formula One World Championship, FIA World Rally and FIM Road Racing World Championship. DENSO will also support Toyota Team SARD and Super GT.

"We hope to contribute to the development of motor sports and improve our name recognition through our sponsorships with these motor sport teams," said Koji Kobayashi, DENSO senior managing director responsible for the Corporate Center and Electric Systems Business Group. "Also, we are using our experience in developing products for motor sport vehicles, which drive under extreme conditions, to develop more advanced technologies."

In North America, DENSO’s sponsorships include NASCAR Automotive Licensing, NASCAR Sprint Cup and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
