Axalta In China Wins 2014 Innovation Award For Competitiveness

More than 40 of the industry's top players received awards this year, with Axalta the only coatings company to be recognized.

SHANGHAI – Axalta Coating Systems has been awarded with the 2014 China Automobile and Parts Industry Development Innovation Award for Competitiveness in recognition of Axalta’s advanced coating systems. The awards are granted annually to manufacturers of advanced patented technology, materials and processes used on automobile bodies and automotive parts in the Chinese market. More than 40 of the industry’s top players received awards this year, with Axalta the only coatings company to be recognized.
 
The awards are sponsored by Automobile & Parts, a widely recognized publication in the automobile and automotive parts industry in China. The selection committee, consisting of industry experts, professors and senior editors, evaluated around 100 enterprises and selected award winners in various categories.
 
Luke Lu, Axalta vice president and president of Axalta in China, said, “Axalta is proud of our legacy of innovation in the coatings industry. We are pleased to receive this award, which recognizes our commitment to making our customers successful with our coating systems."
