AutoEnginuity Releases Scantool 11.1 And Proline VCI

The ScanTool 11.1 features the release of finalized 2012 model year coverage for all supported makes.

MESA, Ariz. – AutoEnginuity LLC, a global engineering company specializing in vehicle data stream and diagnostic solutions, has announced the worldwide release of its new and improved ProLine VCI and ScanTool 11.1 for the Windows platform. ScanTool is an award-winning vehicle diagnostics system for the professional vehicle service industry.
 
The ProLine VCI connector supports new electrical improvements such as the improved protection for ISO pins to prevent errant vehicle power from overheating the connector. Also included are more electronics required for the new Fiat, Ferrari and Maserati enhancements. In addition, more electrical switches were added to allow for more K line isolation from other protocols, making switching protocols more reliable on mixed bus vehicles, the company says.
 
The ProLine VCI update includes an integrated security dongle freeing up a USB port for other devices and making the connection easier to perform with one less device to connect. Also important is the new physical packaging increasing the hardware’s durability, improved light pipes for better visibility of the connector’s LEDs, and a new rubber grip to make connections easier and increase the protection of the connector from shop dirt and fluids, according to AutoEnginuity.
