CAWA Installs Officers for the 2009 Year

The California/Nevada/Arizona Automotive Wholesalers Association (CAWA) has installed the officers elected to its board for 2009.

At its annual meeting to kick-off the 2008 Industry Week in Las Vegas, the California/Nevada/Arizona Automotive Wholesalers Association (CAWA) installed the officers elected to its board for 2009.

The officials serving for the 2009 term are:

• Chair of the Board – David Finley, NAPA Auto and Truck Parts and Finley Industries;
• Vice Chair of the Board – Tim Gerrity, General Auto Parts;
• Treasurer – Mary Davis – NGK Spark Plugs;
• Secretary – Steve Sharp, WORLDPAC; and
• Immediate Past Chair of the Board – Pat Winters, CARQUEST.

Apollo Tyres Adds to EU Lineup

The EnduMile LHT, the company’s most durable and fuel-efficient trailer tire, is now available in a 385/55 R22.5 format.

Apollo Tyres launched a new 385/55 R22.5 variant of its EnduMile long-haul trailer (LHT) tire, which it says is its most fuel-efficient truck trailer product. The new product is available now across Europe, complementing the debut EnduMile LHT which was launched in 385/65 R22.5 format in October. Apollo Tyres says its LHT tire is A-rated for rolling resistance and for road noise, emitting 70dB during industry-standard test procedures.
