This year marks the 29th anniversary of the IPOWER (International Participants Of Winning Edge Racing) Dash Series, which was acquired from NASCAR in 2003. Now, the IPOWERacing organization plans to market to a new generation of motorsports enthusiasts catering to the 14 to 34 demographic who are looking for fast, competitive, cutting-edge racing. On Saturday, May 22nd, IPOWER is partnering with zMAX Micro-lubricant as the event sponsor for the zMAX Dash, a 75-mile sprint race prior to the NEXTEL All-Star Challenge at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC.

DAYTONA BEACH, FL — This year marks the 29th anniversary of the IPOWER (International Participants Of Winning Edge Racing) Dash Series, which was acquired from NASCAR in 2003.

Now, the IPOWERacing organization plans to market to a new generation of motorsports enthusiasts catering to the 14 to 34 demographic who are looking for fast, competitive, cutting-edge racing. On Saturday, May 22nd, IPOWER is partnering with zMAX Micro-lubricant as the event sponsor for the zMAX Dash, a 75-mile sprint race prior to the NEXTEL All-Star Challenge at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC.

“Co-branding with a well recognized automotive brand such as zMAX gives us the ability to identify with the performance crowd who treat their avocation as a lifestyle” said Buck Parker, president and CEO of IPOWERacing. “We’re excited with our new event sponsor.”

A Micro-lubricant chemical, zMax helps increase horsepower, restore gas mileage and reduce engine wear.

The Dash Series is comprised of X-generation compact race cars such as the Dodge Avenger, Chevrolet Cavalier, Ford Escort ZX2, Pontiac Grand Am, Pontiac Sunfire, Toyota Celica and the Mercury Cougar.
