New Company Created to Assist Motorsports Teams with Flight Support

Former NASCAR veteran Joe DePaulis has formed a new company to help motorsports teams organize travel arrangements. DePaulis will serve as CEO of Ceres Group, LLC, which will focus directly on the flight requirements for race and sport teams.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Former NASCAR veteran Joe DePaulis has formed a new company to help motorsports teams organize travel arrangements. DePaulis will serve as CEO of Ceres Group, LLC, which will focus directly on the flight requirements for race and sport teams.

“Our first goal will be to provide service to motorsports teams that are required to travel each week to racing events” said DePaulis.

Ceres Group’s Team Flight Support will work with race teams and motorsports organizations to meet their specific flight needs. GoGo Jet In-flight catering has been chosen as the official gourmet food provider for all the team charters.

Beginning next season Team Flight Support will also offer flight services for Busch and Craftsman Truck Series teams. The company will focus not only on the planned events each week, but will also provide flights for test sessions — a service that has not been offered in the past. These flights will use smaller jet aircraft and will only operate to open testing sessions with more than one team attending. Race teams will also be offered the opportunity to reserve small private jet aircraft for their team as an alternative to flying the group charter.

Team Flight Support will start full flight operations in Charlotte, NC, with the 2005 motorsports racing season.
