CHICAGO, IL — Old World Industries has announced that it has signed an agreement with Chicagoland Speedway to be the title rights sponsor for the Indy Racing League’s IndyCar Series race in Joliet, IL, on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005. The race – dubbed the PEAK Antifreeze Indy 300 Presented by Mr. Clean – is named after two of Old World Industries’ top brands, PEAK Antifreeze and Mr. Clean Windshield Wash and Wiper Blades.

Old World Industries, based in Northbrook, IL, has been a leader in the development and distribution of automotive products of the highest quality for more than 30 years. Its ties to motorsports grew even stronger last month when the company announced an agreement with rookie sensation and Illinois native Danica Patrick, the Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the year and leading contender for the 2005 IndyCar Series Rookie of the Year Award.

“As a Chicagoland company with a long history in motorsports, Old World Industries, manufacturer of PEAK Antifreeze and Mr. Clean Premium Windshield Wash & Wiper Blades, is proud to be a part of the thrills and excitement that every Chicagoland Speedway race delivers,” said Jeff Stauffer, vice president of marketing for the company. “This is the perfect partnership for us because, just like today’s high-tech race cars and talented race drivers, our products represent the utmost in advanced technology, PEAK performance and overall quality. Our 150 Chicago-based employees and our great retail partners across the world are looking forward to a great race and cheering on PEAK and Mr. Clean’s newest ambassador, Danica Patrick.”

Matthew Alexander, vice president and general manager of Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway, is equally excited about the partnership.

“We are excited about partnering with Old World Industries for the IndyCar race in September,” Alexander said. “Old World Industries has built its reputation on servicing the specific needs of its customers with superior products. Their dedication to quality complements our efforts brilliantly, as we at Chicagoland Speedway strive to provide the utmost in entertainment and service to our fans during ARCA/IRL weekend. We know that this collaboration will help add to the excitement of the historically action-packed race with the nail-biting finishes that we’ve come to expect here at Chicagoland Speedway.”
