FORT WORTH, Texas — National Pronto Association has added its second international shareholder to its membership. Almacen Fronterizo de Autopartes S.A. de C.V., located in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, joined the Pronto group effective May 1.
Miguel Angel Ordonez Gonzalez is the owner of Almacen, which services more than 250 jobbers in Mexico.
Pronto currently has 74 shareholders with 131 distribution center locations.

Apollo Tyres launched a new 385/55 R22.5 variant of its EnduMile long-haul trailer (LHT) tire, which it says is its most fuel-efficient truck trailer product. The new product is available now across Europe, complementing the debut EnduMile LHT which was launched in 385/65 R22.5 format in October. Apollo Tyres says its LHT tire is A-rated for rolling resistance and for road noise, emitting 70dB during industry-standard test procedures.
