HDA Truck Pride Says ‘CV Logistics’ Facility Exceeding Expectations

CV Logistics is capable of managing master warehouse programs, virtual warehousing and has begun to capitalize on logistical solutions, according to the group.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Since the inception of HDA Truck Pride in 2011, the group’s corporate vision statement and strategic objectives have guided the company’s direction. A major guiding principle has been to create an avenue for growth and product expansion for all members. As a result, the group’s newly renamed distribution facility, "CV Logistics," aims to provide a critical venue for accomplishing that expansion.

Formerly known as the Truck Pride Master Warehouse, the new HDA Truck Pride CV Logistics facility was taken over by the group as of Dec 31, 2013, as a result of the two companies merging in 2011. Previously housing only two products and bringing in roughly $400,000 in annual sales, the warehouse has since been moved to a larger facility that now offers 24 products and brings in more than $2 million in sales, according to Tina Alread, director of sales and marketing for HDA Truck Pride.

CV Logistics is capable of managing master warehouse programs, virtual warehousing and has begun to capitalize on logistical solutions, according to the group. Alread added that the new facility will work with vendors to solve logistical issues for those "hard to reach guys" in such areas as Western Canada, Maritimes, Puerto Rico and Wyoming, to name a few.

“HDA Truck Pride is proud to launch ‘CV Logistics’ for alternative sourcing and logistics solutions. As the name implies, CV Logistics encompasses both warehousing and sourcing options, as well as logistical and operational efficiencies. It provides an opportunity for our members to diversify and expand their product categories and logistical solutions for our vendor partners and our members. It also provides operational efficiencies in EDI, ROI and shipping, just to name a few,” said Shawn Shumaker, vice president of program management.

“CV Logistics finished FY2013 exceeding our corporate goals in all categories, including member participation, product category offering, fill rates, shipping performance and most importantly, sales," added Jeff Sandt, vice president of product development. "HAD Truck Pride is excited about the growth opportunities CV Logistics creates for our membership as we continue to expand the program offering.”
