ExxonMobil has renewed its multi-year title sponsorship of America’s premier sports car endurance race – the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by “Fresh from Florida.”
“Developing innovative technology requires testing beyond normal experiences, and this grueling 12-hour race provides ExxonMobil with an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the performance and durability of Mobil 1 while pushing our motor oil to extreme limits,” said Kai Decker, global motorsports manager at ExxonMobil. “Our decades-long partnership with this iconic race has not only brought some thrilling racing moments on America’s oldest road racing track, but also contributed to the development of Mobil 1 products used in everyday passenger vehicles on the road. We’re proud to extend our commitment to Sebring by continuing as title sponsor of this iconic race.”
This year’s 64th annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring event, which occurred on March 19, marks the 21st consecutive year ExxonMobil has been the title sponsor of the race.
“For more than two decades, we have thoroughly enjoyed having Mobil 1 as our name and title sponsor,” said Sebring President and General Manager Wayne Estes. “Sebring International Raceway looks forward to continuing to provide this iconic race to the fans while partnering with Mobil 1.”
In addition to serving as title sponsor, Mobil 1 was found trackside providing high-performance lubricant products and technical engineering support to many of the teams competing in the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, including Corvette Racing and Porsche Motorsport.
